The fest is easily accessible by the CTA Blue Line (Damen stop) and is just minutes from downtown Chicago via train and complimentary bike parking will be offered.
Historic yet hip and cutting edge, Chicago’s Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods offer a range of activities including distinctive art galleries, acclaimed restaurants and a lively music scene. Showcasing the diverse area for a seventh consecutive year, Wicker Park Fest 2010 is presented by the Wicker Park & Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and Big Creek Productions. Over 40,000 people attended the Fest in 2009, we hope to equal or exceed that number this year.
Revelers will enjoy spirited musical acts who perform continuously throughout the weekend on three stages. Wicker Park Fest also features great food from local restaurants as well as unique arts & crafts from local Chicago artisans and vendors.
Calling all families! With so many youngsters in the neighborhood, the Wicker Park Fest will also host a special Kids Fest, which will offer a wide variety of children’s programming in a dedicated play area. Proceeds from the Wicker Park Kids Fest will go to the Jose de Diego Community Academy, a local public school located right here in Wicker Park/Bucktown.
Check out the details and listen to music samples at Wicker Park Fest on MySpace.
